This is my dog Ricky who loves to pose and assume different identities. As you can see he loves his Elmer Fudd hat. He just had to have one, since they are all the latest craze. It also keeps him quite warm. Ricky also loves his role as an FBI agent 'Ricardo" He is always on the go assessing new situations, which usually involve finding cats to scare. But mostly as an FBI agent, he just loves wearing the hat to project the image of a 'cool dog dude" Also, his best friend and companion is Poquito, aka Pokey They are the best of buds. Sometimes Ricky will loan Pokey his Elmer Fudd hat. Pokey is often right by Rickys side as he solves mystery after mystery. Pokey is also an FBI agent, but has not yet gotten his FBI hat that he ordered online. He may have to assume a Sherlock Holmes persona, instead. These two together are a powerful team. They will keep you laughing for hours.....

This is Ricky. I rescued him from the Oregon Humane Society about 3 1/2 years ago. He has taught me a lot about what happens to dogs or any animal that is abused. He is my first rescue. Ricky was 3 when I got him. He was so terrified of people. I have worked with him quite a bit to socialize him and help him to realize that not all people are bad. I guess the people who had him were going to shoot him. So when their neighbor lady found out, she took him to OHS. He is quite the happy little guy today. He has opened my heart so much as he as healed his own little heart. He is quite content in his life with me. The difference I have noticed between a rescue dog and one the pet shop or a newspaper ad is the gratitude he displays in little ways. Its hard to describe but its almost tangible. Its like they know they are so lucky to be in their new home. And thats what I see with Ricky. He is an amazing dog.
